Technology monitoring: a driver of strategic innovation in Africa!

The start of the week is always a great time to reflect on the trends shaping our profession. Lately, I’ve been diving into Event-Driven Architectures and their implementation using tools like Apache Kafka or cloud-based messaging services.

It is fascinating to see how these paradigms can transform system scalability and resilience, even for use cases one might not initially imagine. I see immense potential for optimizing complex data flows and creating ultra-smooth user experiences—something particularly relevant to the infrastructure challenges and opportunities we face in Cameroon and across Africa.

It’s not just about "new technology," but about understanding how these approaches can address real-world needs and pave the way for high-value applications.

Which architectures or tools are sparking your curiosity right now, and why?
