Taptap Send: from code to the field, one partner on every front

For the money transfer app Taptap Send, I built the attendance tool for its national hackathon, ran its logistics, designed influencer visuals for Cameroon and DR Congo, and managed the brand's booth at the PROMOTE 2026 fair.

Context

Taptap Send, a money transfer app, is growing its presence in Cameroon and DR Congo: a national hackathon, campaigns with local influencers and a presence at major trade fairs.

The challenge

Deliver very different operations (an intensive 3-day hackathon, visual campaigns in two countries, a booth at an international fair) with the same quality bar and a single point of contact.

What I built

  1. 01 Hackathon — attendance app (Laravel, MySQL) to instantly check teams in at every training and judging session, with centralized attendance data
  2. 02 Hackathon — logistics and operations lead (supplies, space layout, welcome schedules, equipment and technical resources)
  3. 03 Design — digital banners and posters for partner influencers in Cameroon, then adapted for the DR Congo market
  4. 04 PROMOTE 2026 — full management of the official booth at the Yaoundé Conference Centre (layout, team of hosts, visitor flow, on-site customer acquisition)

Results

  • A 3-day national hackathon run end to end, with real-time attendance tracking
  • Consistent visual campaigns, rolled out across two markets
  • An active brand presence at the international PROMOTE 2026 fair
